Cargo Bike Inspection & Diagnostic
This is a dedicated Fugacis workshop service for electric cargo bikes and non-electric cargo bikes, with a particular focus on the brands we work with most frequently in our workshop: Christiania Bikes, Babboe and Nihola. For 99 DKK, we perform a complete 360° inspection of the cargo bike to assess its overall condition, functionality and safety.

About this service
What we inspect
Brakes: We test braking efficiency and braking performance and inspect brake pads, discs, calipers and the overall condition of the braking system.
Wheels & tyres: We check for wear, cracks, corrosion, damage and the general condition of the wheels and tyres.
Electrical system – E-Cargo Bikes: We diagnose the electrical system to verify that it is functioning correctly and identify potential errors, faults or defective components.
Frame & structure: We inspect the frame, steering and main structural components. This is particularly important for cargo bikes due to their weight and load-carrying capacity.
Drivetrain: We inspect the chain/belt, gears and main mechanical components for wear or potential problems.
Bolts & fittings: We check the main fastening points to identify loose bolts or components that could affect the bike's safety.
Overall safety: We assess the cargo bike as a whole to identify any issues that could compromise its safe use on Danish roads.
Fugacis Inspection Report
After the inspection, the customer receives a written and signed Fugacis Bicycles report detailing:
Overall condition of the cargo bike
Problems identified
Any safety-related issues
Worn or defective components
Recommended repairs
The customer can then decide which repairs they would like us to carry out.
